Opened Door
The door had opened,
Something new,
That feeling,
Who knew,
A changed occurred,
Out of the blue,
Taking the first step,
With out regret,
Ones life journey,
On a destined track,
Momentum of time,
Dictated by the sound of chimes,
As the bell tolls,
A name foretold,
That journey ends,

The moon it played with my mind,
Thought of love within a dream,
The name from the past,
Ignited a flame,
Memories of places where we had been,
Visions of a face,
As clear as day,
That first kiss,
Stole my heart away,
Maybe our paths will cross,
On a new dawn,
A new day.........

Time alone from our normal lives,
It's 3am and your on my mind,
To hold you safe within my arms,
To wake alone,
At the break of dawn,
With the rising sun,
A new day born,
Parting In Kind
A fork in the road,
Parting in kind,
A separation,
Of a heart,
Of a mind,
For each is going in a different direction,
Outcome to be determined,
In time,
Life is a choice,
For the present is the gift,
For it is happiness,
That produces a smile....

That beautiful sanctuary,
Filled with grace,
To meet those we recognise,
Those memories, in our minds,
Remembering the pictures,
Of those times,
All those happy moments,

Overtime,
A face is graced with a beaming smile,
Some tears of joy,
Smearing a cheek,
That person brings.....
