It was an image,

It captured a heart,

A certain light,

Guiding one from the dark,

That path was lit,

A trail to follow,

That took me from today,

It led to tomorrow,

For a step was taken,

A moment at a time,

On a life's journey,

A second at a time,

It was a kiss,

That captured one's breath,

Sent one's mind in decline,

For like a tattoo it remained,

On the lips,

For a life time.....

The affection of a tender kiss,

Leaves a name on pouting lips,

The touch of tracing finger tips,

Left gentle lines,

The rhythm of dancing hearts,

Beat entwined,

That romantic waltz,

That blows the mind,

For what is love,

Of memories past,

Is scars upon a heart,

That last a lifetime.....

It's a kind of magic,

As the magician cast a spell,

Enchanting words,

The Sorcerer said,

In a rhythmic sound,

Air is cracking,

The spell is cast,

As colourful shapes,

Came to life,

An illusion that will last,

It was Good Friday,

As the bunny hopped out of the bed,

I'm late,

A voice was heard in the bunny's head,

For the Easter bunny had forgotten the date,

Easter eggs may be late,

As a bonnet placed upon its head,

Rushed to the shop in haste,

To find Alice with chocolate on her face,
