To turn and see the foot steps of the past,

Misty rain falls in a casual way,

Birds singing from under cover of dampened leaves,

Under the canopy of the budding trees,

Wednesday's dawn in the month of May,

Every dawn is different at the start of the day,

Blossom Falling

To see the budding trees of May,

Blossom falling,

Fruit is on the way,

Catkins drooping from the branches,

Trees in bloom,

Birds romantic,

Wild flowers cover a woodland floor,

As squirrels rummage,

As they explore,

To Focus on the Sun

To wipe a tear from an eye,

To focus on the sun,

Rising in the sky,

Through misty eyes,

This new day dawns,

A ray of hope,

The day begins,

Accompanied by a shadow,

You know you are not alone,

Everyday

Today, 

Comes from yesterday, 

Today leads to tomorrow, 

Days always start with a sunrise, 

Everyday is different, 

Everyday is new.

Cross the Horizon

Sitting on a golden beach,

Watching the sun cross the horizon,

A sun is climbing,

The start of a new day,

Looking back on the footprints,

The trail of the past,

Looking at the sand un-walked on,

That will be the way,

To walk on that beach,

A new day to explore,

That venture new,

A direction to follow,

To lead to tomorrow,
