Blossom Falling

To see the budding trees of May,

Blossom falling,

Fruit is on the way,

Catkins drooping from the branches,

Trees in bloom,

Birds romantic,

Wild flowers cover a woodland floor,

As squirrels rummage,

As they explore,

To Focus on the Sun

To wipe a tear from an eye,

To focus on the sun,

Rising in the sky,

Through misty eyes,

This new day dawns,

A ray of hope,

The day begins,

Accompanied by a shadow,

You know you are not alone,

Everyday

Today, 

Comes from yesterday, 

Today leads to tomorrow, 

Days always start with a sunrise, 

Everyday is different, 

Everyday is new.

Cross the Horizon

Sitting on a golden beach,

Watching the sun cross the horizon,

A sun is climbing,

The start of a new day,

Looking back on the footprints,

The trail of the past,

Looking at the sand un-walked on,

That will be the way,

To walk on that beach,

A new day to explore,

That venture new,

A direction to follow,

To lead to tomorrow,

A day to reflect on that day,

The day of yesterday that led to today,

That Day is Past

Dry your eyes,

No need to cry,

That day is in the past,

That rainbow now,

A sign,

Of better days head,

So feel the glow,

That warmth you know,

From a golden ray,

That will make our day,

A Shadow of The Night

To stand and watch the sun go down,

A shrinking shadow on the land,

A shadow disappearing to be no more,

Hidden in the darkness of the night,

A ghost hidden out of sight,

Invisible to the naked eye,

That is a shadow of the night,

To a Pasture New

To listen to the whispering words,

Muttered quietly barely heard,

Loud enough to be understood,

A tear drop an answer in reply,

Silence,

As one signals goodbye,

End of chapter,

With the closing of a door,

A choice is made,

To be single once more,

A walk alone,

To a pasture new,
