Lost on a path,

In the middle of the night,

No trail to follow,

No guiding light,

Lost in thoughts,

Waiting for a sign,,

Hopefully soon it will be sunrise,

For listening to the whispers,

Rustling through the leaves,

Names and places,

Bring back memories,

One falls into a dream,

To wake in the morning,

With the ray of a rising sun,

Trying to make sense of where one has been. 

Magic in a Pen to Catch a Readers Eye

The magic comes with a pen in hand,

When emotions transfer upon a page,

When letters join in harmony,

That is where the sentences are made,

To catch a readers eye,

Maybe heartfelt,

Will bring a tear to an eye,

For if a heart string is pulled,

That memory reoccurred,

Of a time and a place,

Maybe even that ex-lovers face,

Or maybe that special one,

That sadly passed away.........

Leads to scribbling and scratching with a pen,

In the darkness of night,

Under a candle light,

Before a new day is born,

Capturing the letters to form the words,

Sentences born,

Lines to be read,

The release of emotions,

In the rawest form,

Tells the story,

From the soul,

Of a carrying vessel.....

The Darkness of Night

In the darkness of night,

One had lost sight,

There was no light,

That is where a path was found,

For trust,

On a path unknown,

Taken with the blind foot steps,

Forward one goes.....

To be on that path,

The wind is howling,

Biting the flesh,

Like the hounds of hell,

The courage to face the fear,

To press forward through the storm,

On the path unknown,

Trusting in inner strength,

Strength to pass the test,

Until you find some shelter,

That is where to rest a burdened head,

To take some time,

Until the new dawn,

When the storm has gone,

With a new day born.....

Twisted Face

Rising Sun

To wake with the rising sun,

That guiding light,

A new morning has begun,

The warmth of the glow,

It warms a soul,

As one prepares for the show,

For the first act,

Is that first foot step,

Then the chapter grows,

For as an hour goes by,

A page is turned,

With the memories that are made,

For one has travelled on the path,

That leads us to midday,

As the story of the show,

Continues throughout the day,

Until the curtains are drawn,

Then in the dreams one rehearses the lines for the next day....

  

A Rainy Day

To walk on a path on a rainy day,

Path was still there after the storm had

passed this way,

It led to a rainbow,

Under the arch,

On the path,

Did not stray,

Now the sun is shining,

One is well on one's way......

Try To Feel

One tried to feel,

A heart was still,

The rhythm had slowed it's beat,

To feel it still,

It was unreal,

This was not meant to be,

For it felt as if life was on pause,

In conflict with time,

As the seconds fell through the hands,

Just like grains of sand.....

Contemplating one's fate,

On destiny's path one waits,

Until a sign is shown,

That direction is then known,
