Buttercups, buttercups,

In a field of green,

With butterflies fluttering,

From leaf to leaf,

In the gentle wind,

Laid in a meadow,

Grass is swaying,

Day dreaming away,

With white cotton clouds,

Gracing the sky,

Way up high,

Gently floating bye,

Like the time,

As the sun begins to lower,

To the line of the horizon,

As a day prepares to say goodbye,

But the memories,

Will stay,

For tomorrow.......

To sit and look over the bay,

The suns gone down,

An end to the day,

The glimmer of the moon,

That lunar light,

Glistens on the crest of the waves,

With the sound of the sea,

Washing the shore,

Taking the foot steps away,

Now the trace of the past,

That path has gone,

Only a memory remains,

Time it passes,

Night it darkens,

The stars shine in the constellations,

Until the rise of dawn,

As the rays of light grace the sky,

The start of a new day.................

Lost on a path,

In the middle of the night,

No trail to follow,

No guiding light,

Lost in thoughts,

Waiting for a sign,,

Hopefully soon it will be sunrise,

For listening to the whispers,

Rustling through the leaves,

One falls into a dream,

To wake in the morning,

To bask in the rays,

Of this beautiful day,

Looking over golden sands,

Of the bay,

The sea caresses the shore in a romantic way,

Gentle kisses of waves as they break in a

loving way,

With soaring gulls,

Drifting a high,

With a few cotton clouds,

Just floating by............

A Castle Fell

To loose a crown,

When a castle fell,

In ruins the kingdom of a heart,

For love fell to one's knees,

Surrendered to the truth,

An hour glass draining,

The present is a gift,

This individual journey,

On golden shores,

With a gentle sound,

Of rolling pebbles,

As the tide,

With shadows coming out to play,

The magic comes with a pen in hand,

When emotions transfer upon a page,

When letters join in harmony,

That is where the sentences are made,

To catch a readers eye,

Maybe heartfelt,

Will bring a tear to an eye,

For if a heart string is pulled,

That memory reoccurred,

Of a time and a place,

Maybe even that ex-lovers face,

Or maybe that special one,

That sadly passed away.........

Twists and turns,

On life's individual path,

The unexpected and unexplained,

That leaves one listening,

To the thoughts,

Spoken by the internal voice,

Within the brain,

In conflict and confusion,

Leads to scribbling and scratching with a pen,

In the darkness of night,

Under a candle light,

Before a new day is born,

Capturing the letters to form the words,

Sentences born,

Lines to be read,

The release of emotions,

In the rawest form,

Tells the story,

From the soul,

Of a carrying vessel.....

It was a wish made,

Can one decide without questioning why,

Or step with the right,

Can one decide before tonight,

At the end of the day,

Could not decide,

Decided to stay,

The cross roads now lit,

Chasing a path of dreams,

At the break of day,

A picture in my mind,

Is it you,

Can't catch up,

Upon a path,

The hands of time,

Move so fast,

The sand it drains in the hour glass,

As it gets turned again.....

The days are past,

Soon it will be a new month again.....
