Echo's Upon A Path

Echo's heard upon a path,

Voice of the past,

Carried by the wind,

Travelled so far,

Awakened my soul,

Capturing attention,

With curiosity,

As walls tumbled down.........

The Flow of The Letters

As dreams were captured on reams, 

Wishes written with an emotional hand,

As the flow of letters formed the words,

Acting as the hands of time.....

One's Dreams

To dance on the path,

At the midnight hour,

Illuminated by the lunar rays,

That travelled so far,

As one danced towards the dawn,

A start of a new day,

For every step forward,

Was to a rhythm of a beat,

That quickened the pace,

Of those footsteps,

That led a direction,

Created by one's dreams,

The Ocean Tide

To sit and watch the ocean tide,

Kiss the rocks,

At the dawn of the day, 

The beginning of the start,

Sound of the waves,

Crashing and splashing,

In rhythm with the beat of a clock,

As the second hand moves,

Movement propelled,

The minutes in the hour,

As the tide lowered,

The tears dropped,

Off the faces of the rocks.........

Meadfoot Beach

The Darkness

Darkness came,

The stars they shone,

High in the sky,

They caught the readers eye,

Of dreams and their predictions,

For written destiny's shining bright,

Brings hope from sorrow,

Of a journey of life,

For every star sign,

Has a constellation,

Of Fire and Air,

Of Earth and Water,

Born to one is a Father or Mother,

Also a Son or a Daughter ............

The Yew Tree

To walk backwards on a path,

Not a path travelled before,

Around a Yew tree,

Seven times no more,

A tale of myth and lore,

To stand in awe,

Under the branches of the tree,

Where grave stones stand at angles,

Of those that passed before,

A whispered wish,

Cast to be free,

For in life on one's path,

What will be,

Will be,

To then find a Rose,

Upon a seat,

Colourful,

Beautiful and free........

 

Numbed

To follow that path,

It led nowhere,

But gave the distance,

The time,

Those feelings,

Numbed,

In silence,

Words where heard,

Lost,

A learning curve,

Watching,

Listening,

Pending,

A new beginning..........

Ink It Bleeds

The words are flowing from the thoughts,

Created by the heart,

As the pulse of a beat,

The ink it bleeds,

Upon a sheet,

Words tattooed,

On that page,

Emotions captured,

For an age,

Of a path travelled so far,

A path alone,

A path that is shared,

The path travelled that leads nowhere,

Everyday a path is chosen,

With a rising sun,

A foot path is taken,

With a new journey taken.....

 

Life's A Stage

To be on stage,

Performing for thee,

The seats are empty,

No one can, one see,

Under the spotlight,

Feeling the heat,

The show must go on,

Don't want to be seen week,

Until the final curtain,

Is drawn and the show complete,

One will gracefully make one's exit,

After the final bow,

Until then,

The show must go on,

A day repeated,

Daily,

Week after week,

As the act runs it's course,

Repeatedly after Act 111,

In strength one grows,

For those that care to see,

For Yesterday led to Today,

That leads a path to Tomorrow,

The Acts 1, 11 & 111,

The lines you read......

For what will be, will be,

The Universe had said, trust in me........

Following A Path

Do you follow the path,

Of the one that leads,

To see them trip and fall,

To laugh and mock,

As they rise from the floor,

The ground they have risen from before,

To look in awe,

For the internal strength,

To heal and ignore,

Scars earned over time,

Visible from the falls before,

As they dust themselves off,

To press forward,

On a path,

Guided by light,

That shows at the break of dawn,

Unbreakable in nature,

An inspiration to us all.....

Parting In Kind

A fork in the road,

Parting in kind,

A separation,

Of a heart,

Of a mind,

For each is going in a different direction,

Outcome to be determined,

In time,

Life is a choice,

For the present is the gift,

For it is happiness,

That produces a smile....

The Robin Came and Sat By Me

The Robin came and sat by me,

A conversation it was to be,

Sang a song,

The words were new,

Of that person,

I once knew,

Memories sprang to life,

The times we shared,

Brought a smile,

Upon my face,

I knew the day,

Would go my way,

On his way he did fly,

With a chirp of goodbye,

Leaving me with a tear in my eye......

A Smile Makes A Day

A smile makes a day,

That hug goes along way,

The eyes do not lie,

One heart sings a song,

In an individual way,

On a path,

A direction,

That different way,

With a course that is set,

Do not loose your way,

An Image

It was an image,

It captured a heart,

A certain light,

Guiding one from the dark,

That path was lit,

A trail to follow,

That took me from today,

It led to tomorrow,

For a step was taken,

A moment at a time,

On a life's journey,

A second at a time,

The Kiss

It was a kiss,

That captured one's breath,

Sent one's mind in decline,

For like a tattoo it remained,

On the lips,

For a life time.....

A Tender Kiss

The affection of a tender kiss,

Leaves a name on pouting lips,

The touch of tracing finger tips,

Left gentle lines,

The rhythm of dancing hearts,

Beat entwined,

That romantic waltz,

That blows the mind,

For what is love,

Of memories past,

Is scars upon a heart,

That last a lifetime.....

The Hand

You held my hand,

On a path,

Along the way,

Through the storms,

That come our way,

On a path,

You held it tight,

Safe I was,

With that touch,

Then one day,

It slipped away,

Gone you were,

Far away,

Tears were shed,

For you were gone,

Left me here all alone,

All that remain,

Memories dear,

Cherry blossoms upon the tree,

The sign of life and beauty it brings,

The vibrant colours for all to see,

A reminder that life is fleeting,

Morning's Air

The light it guided me,

To the break of dawn,

Alone I stood on a golden shore,

The first breath of the morning's air,

A new day born without a care,

The warming rays upon my skin,
