Phoenix Rising

To rise from the fire,
Wings alight,
Shadows cast in the dark of the night,
A trail of smoke betrays the flight,
Reaching heights not flown before,
Ascending higher to the unknown,
Phoenix rising,
Breaking free,
Born again to spread its wings........
