The Day
Open your eyes and see the day,
Write your page so full,
Look about,
See what’s about,
Describe it in every way,
Take it in and don’t forget,
That is what life is about,
Every detail,
Don’t you miss a thing?
Express it in every way,
The colour,
The smell and even the taste,
The good the bad,
The times you had,
Memories you want to stay,
Laughing and singing,
The smiles which were given as you go on your way.
