Pen’s Don’t Lie
As my hand finds a pen, Let the writing begin, Words start flowing from the bottom of my heart, Ink and paper dancing together to capture the story so far, Expressing the way I feel for what happened yesterday, Like the hand of a clock the words just want stop and the pen it will keep on writing, As painful to me to write how I feel, I know it will set me free,
Of the lies, deceit and betrayal inflicted on me, Bereaving the loss of my family and the future it should have been, Unable to control the situation as it unfolded, Eventually destroying me, True colours shown of what my love meant to one, Chapters progress easily, To tell of the past the pen writes freely, Of the present I write daily, For the future I can only write of dreams and write reality as destiny is presented to me, So to the next chapter I will go in the story of my life, At a chapters end, Let the episodes unfold as you turn the page.
